The unique views found only in St. Augustine tell the story of nearly 450 years of history. The fabled Bridge of Lions spanning Matanzas Bay…. a charming waterfront reflecting the glories of Imperial Spain…the Victorian grandeur of Henry Flagler’s hotels… ancient narrow streets that still echo to the clip-clop passage of America’s history

HOLIDAY TOUR OF BED & BREAKFAST INNS SET FOR ST. AUGUSTINE
16th Annual Event!

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Nov. 17) – On December 12 & 13, St. Augustine’s dazzling array of bed and breakfast inns will display their holiday finery during the 16th annual Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour. Presented by St. Augustine Historic Inns, the tour is one of the most popular events of the oldest city’s Nights of Lights Celebration.

This year, the tour will feature 25 inns. Each inn will partner with a local culinary establishment that will provide a signature treat for participants. Plus, most will offer opportunities to meet artists from local galleries who will be displaying their talents at selected inns. The tour will feature one-half of the inns each day.

Winn-Dixie, a new sponsor this year, will provide free hot chocolate and a complimentary grocery tote bag to each participant when they claim their tickets at the Visitors Information Center on San Marco Avenue. Old Town Trolley, a returning sponsor, will provide free transportation for tour participants who prefer to ride instead of walking to each inn on the tour.

Through November 21, advance tickets may be purchased for $25 each. Regularly-priced tickets will be available through the day of the event for $35 each. Tickets may be purchased online at www.staugustinebandbtour.com or at the St. Augustine Record, One News Place, St. Augustine. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the St. Augustine Record’s Empty Stocking Fund – an important initiative that provides food and gift cards to local, economically disadvantaged children and their families.

In addition to Old Town Trolley and Winn-Dixie, generous sponsors for this year’s Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour include St. Augustine Historic Inns, the St. Augustine Record, Herbie Wiles Insurance, OldCity.com, and philanthropist Peggy Henry.
